Response of the Rotenone Task Force to the
Alleged Link of Rotenone and Parkinson’s Disease

The Rotenone Task Force engaged the services of Dr. Joseph Borzelleca of the Virginia Commonwealth University Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, in Richmond, VA to review the article published by Dr. Timothy Greenamyre of Emory University in the December issue of Nature Neuroscience.  We have reproduced Dr. Borzelleca’s review for the information of rotenone users and those who live around bodies of water which are treated with rotenone.  We have also included Dr. Borzelleca’s C.V. for interested parties.

Prentiss developed its fisheries management products in the early 1970's. These products, Prentox Synpren Fish Toxicant, Prentox Prenfish Toxicant and Prentox Fish Toxicant Powder, remove unwanted (trash) fish from ponds and lakes in order that those sport fishing areas may be restocked with game fish. The following page contains a question and answer format to more fully explain what fisheries management is, why it is necessary, and why Prentiss fish toxicant products are specially designed and suited to these purposes.
